The past week inserted into a busy end-of-term season here at Portsmouth some extra events – both seemingly related to Knights. And coming up soon, with the passing of the end of the term, will be our next Day of Recollection for our Portsmouth Oblates.

Fr. Edward Mazuski draws on his childhood days and his experience playing "The Legend of Zelda" to gain insight into the Shema - "Hear, O Israel" - and its link to the commandments Christ places at the center of Christian life.

We turn this week to an artist who has left an enduring legacy at Portsmouth, summed up in the Fine Arts Center that bears his name. Donald McGuire, former faculty member and husband of our previous featured artist, Eileen McGuire, brought not only outstanding artistic ability, but also an engaged and personal approach to his work at the School.
