    January 14-20, 2024 | 2nd Week in Ordinary Time

    Here is what's current:
Saints Alive | The Epiphany of Every Day | The Two Aelreds
  • Saints Alive!

    • Brother Sixtus Roslevich‘s trip to SEEK24 was an inspiring journey, reflecting and resonating with lessons of the saints he has found reiterated recently for him – in a trip to a local elementary school and in correspondence with our oblates.

      Read

  • The Epiphany of Every Day

    • Abbot Michael Brunner, in his homily for Epiphany, spoke to the gathered School community about the significance of this “Little Christmas,” and of its prophetic and consoling message for us today.

      Read

  • The Two Aelreds

    • Our monthly archive of the abbey’s history remembers our two Aelreds: Aelred Graham, prior of Portsmouth in the 1950’s and 1960’s, and Aelred Wall, beloved community member who served as head of the School before his departure to create new monastic communities. Dom Damian Kearney wrote of their passings, both in 1984, in the monastery Newsletter.
